Éva Skoda lives and works in Budapest. The techniques of gouache and watercolor are very close to her heart. In the early 1970s she worked as a stage painter in a theater. Some years later she worked as a restorer and graphic artist. The outstanding choice of colors and the vibrancy of her pictures make her technology absolutely unique. Her colors shine in and with each other and ultimately form a great unity. The artist is also known for her portraits. She easily creates colorful figures and portraits of her contemporaries and well-known public figures. Éva Skoda has been president of the Kispest Helikon cultural association since 2012.
