He has been an Assistant Professor at the College since 1973, Associate Professor since 1986 and Head of the Department of Painting since 1991. He is a member of the Szinyei Society. His work includes oil paintings and graphics, as well as artistic wood sculptures and murals, frescoes, secco and panel paintings.
From his solo exhibitions: Vigadó Gallery, Cziffra Foundation, Senlis, MOL Gallery, Szolnok, Basel, Zurich etc. Abroad, he presented his works in solo exhibitions in Paris (1982), Vienna (1988, 1990) and Berlin (1999). In 1974 he took part in a group exhibition at the Ernst Museum, in 1978 and 1988 in the Hungarian National Gallery and in 1980 in the Art Gallery. In 1975-78 he received a Derkovits grant and in 1980 the Munkácsy Prize. His works are in the Hungarian National Gallery, Ludwig Museum, Contemporary Hungarian Gallery, Dunaszerdahely, Janus Pannonius Museum in Pécs, János Tornyai Museum in Hódmezővásárhely and József Katona Museum in Kecskemét, but also in Aachen, Sofia.
